Program Participation

Robinson Transport is committed to providing our clients fast and secure service. We are members of the US Customs and Border Protection program known as the ‘Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism’ (C-TPAT) and the Canadian Border Services Agency’s program called ‘Partners in Protection’. These programs are an important part of border security in Canada and the United States and we are proud to be an active participant.

C-TPAT

C‐TPAT seeks to safeguard the world’s vibrant trade industry from terrorists, maintaining the economic health of the U.S. and its neighbors. The partnership develops and adopts measures that add security but do not have a chilling effect on trade, a difficult balancing act.

Partners in Protection

Partners in Protection (PIP) is a cooperative program between private industry and the CBSA aimed at enhancing border and trade chain security.

This voluntary program has no membership fee. It is designed to streamline and make border processes more efficient for low-risk, pre-approved businesses recognized as trusted traders. As a member, you must abide by the roles and responsibilities outlined in the PIP Terms and Conditions of Use. In return, the CBSA will assess your company’s physical, infrastructural, and procedural security, and will recommend necessary improvements. This will enhance the integrity of your production, transportation, importation and/or exportation processes.
